Why these projects matter for women

“The floods took everything from us. With these projects, we finally hope to rebuild on solid foundations.” – Mariam, 38, group leader in Bégoua.

Inclusive Approach

Inclusivity is at the heart of our approach. The solutions we propose are developed in close collaboration with members of local communities. This ensures that the needs and aspirations of local residents are taken into account, thus promoting project ownership and long-term sustainability.

Focus on Women

As part of this project, we decided to focus our efforts on women, who represent 80% of the target beneficiaries. By actively involving them in the development process, we aim to strengthen their role within the community, improve their access to resources, and promote their economic and social autonomy.

Expected Results

The expected outcomes of this initiative include significantly strengthening the resilience and stability of vulnerable neighborhoods. By working together with communities and focusing on women's empowerment, we hope to create a safer and more prosperous environment for all residents.

In conclusion, this inclusive and women-focused approach is essential to building stronger and more resilient communities, capable of facing current and future challenges.
