📜 Access to administrative documents
Guaranteeing legal identity means giving every woman the ability to claim her civil and social rights.
In the Central African Republic, many people lack official documents, which limits their access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities.
To address this, Femmes En Danger Centrafrique supports communities in obtaining birth certificates, identity cards, and voter registration cards so they can fully exercise their rights.
✅ Administrative assistance for registration procedures
✅ Legal support for individuals without civil status
✅ Awareness campaigns on the importance of official documents
🔗 Access to documentation is a fundamental right recognized by the UN. To learn more, see the Sustainable Development Goals – Legal identity for all.
🛡️ Combating violence against women
Gender-based violence remains a scourge. We take action through:
✅ National awareness campaigns to break the silence
✅ Legal and psychological support for victims
✅ Collaboration with authorities for improved care and response
Every woman must be able to assert her rights without barriers. That’s why we rely on key international conventions, such as the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW), which ensures legal protection for women worldwide.

⚖️ Access to justice and fundamental rights
🔗 Access to justice is a fundamental principle of the rule of law. According to the United Nations, ensuring fair justice allows citizens to assert their rights, challenge discriminatory measures, and seek redress in cases of abuse.
In the Central African Republic, many women are denied fair access to justice due to economic, social, and administrative barriers.
Women In Danger central Africa is committed to providing them with the tools they need to defend their rights and obtain justice.
✅ Legal training to empower women and help them better understand their rights
✅ Free legal support for victims of violence and discrimination
✅ Collaboration with judicial institutions to facilitate access to legal remedies
💼 Empowerment and economic independence
🔗 Financial independence is a key to the empowerment of women and youth. According to UN Women, investing in women’s entrepreneurship and youth employment directly contributes to growth and sustainable development.
In the Central African Republic, many women and young people without formal education face economic barriers and a lack of opportunities to build their future.
Women In Danger Central Africa works to provide them with tailored training and concrete support in shaping their professional projects.
✅ Vocational and entrepreneurial training adapted to local realities and market needs
✅ Targeted support for young people without diplomas to help define their career paths and access economic opportunities
✅ Easier access to funding and microcredit, with post-financing follow-up to ensure project sustainability
✅ Partnerships with businesses and institutions to promote professional integration

📚 Access to education and academic support
🔗 Ensuring a quality educational environment is essential for gender equality and women's empowerment.
According to UNESCO, improving school infrastructure and access to educational resources are key drivers in promoting education for girls and vulnerable communities.
In the Central African Republic, many children—especially girls—face material and financial barriers that limit their access to education.
Women In Danger Central Africa works to create optimal learning conditions and support both students and educators.
✅ Improvement and construction of school facilities to provide a safe and suitable learning environment
✅ Equipping schools with educational materials, benches, blackboards, and essential infrastructure
✅ Provision of school kits (basic clothing, notebooks, pens) to reduce financial barriers
✅ Academic support for struggling students and guidance for teachers to enhance education quality
